Popular Questions

Here are some of the questions we get asked most. To avoid an emergency service call, please review these first.

In the hospitality industry, bartenders often have extensive knowledge of the beer itself but no idea how it gets from point A to point B.

The quality of what comes out that the end of the tap and gets dispensed into your customer’s glass is subject to many factors.

In a perfect world, a dedicated cooler to store kegs is ideal but in reality it is often very different. Cooler space is often shared with food storage and kegs get used as additional shelf storage.

Beer Line Cleaning is not just about the lines. It’s about cleaning and sanitizing all the equipment that is used in a draught system. Everything from taps to couplers and all the equipment in between.

Simply running a solution through your beer system does not mean it’s clean.

Foaming beer is directly related to temperature and pressure. So the first line of defense is to check your cooler temperature. If the beer is not entering the system cold it will be foamy. The second line of defense is to check your dispensing gas supply. Perhaps your cylinder is empty?

This is often related to the dispensing gas either not being on or the cylinder being empty.

The Beer Guy always insists on a dispensing gas cylinder backup to be on site. That way, if your cylinder is empty you can immediately hook up the backup without delay.

If you are a dispensing gas customer of ours, we check levels of dispensing gas at the time of beer line cleaning and replenish as needed.
